Handcarved Wooden Spoons

I'm Josh Rittenhouse. I've been making things from wood for most of my life. A few years ago, spoon carving came to the forefront and every since has been my main focus. During 2017, I carved one spoon every day.

I use very old techniques to carve spoons. Aside from a chain saw, I only use hand tools. Specifically, an axe or two and a series of carving knives specific to spoon carving.
